Anthony Martial is set to return to Manchester United’s starting line-up, for their Premier League clash against in-form Arsenal.
Martial, who has scored seven goals in 17 appearances this season, was benched for the trip to Southampton on Saturday.
The French forward played the final 15 minutes after replacing Marcus Rashford, who had been struggling with a minor injury and fatigue during the 2-2 draw.
United will assess Rashford over the next 48 hours to determine whether he is able to face Arsenal on Wednesday evening.
But ESPN FC reports Mourinho has already decided that Martial will start the match against Unai Emery’s Gunners.
It is claimed the 22-year-old dropped to the bench at St Mary’s as Manchester United are carefully monitoring his fitness, while he continues to nurse a muscular problem.
