The lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Senator Shehu Sani, has congratulated the pioneer Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Nuhu Ribadu, for his Global Anti-Corruption award.
Ribadu bagged the outstanding award on anti-corruption campaign, which was administered by Doha, Qatar-based think tank, Rule of Law and Anti-corruption Centre ROLACC.
ROLACC celebrated corruption fighters, academics and campaigners from around the world.
The award ceremony was held on Friday at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre in Malaysia.
Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Al Thani, attended the ceremony.
Shehu Sani wrote on his Twitter page, “Congratulations to @NuhuRibadu for the global anti corruption award.
“Your time was not in the times of Pompey and is not in the times of Caesar but it shall come. Once again, Congratulations.”
