Doctor Who series 13 is just a couple of weeks away, as the release date and series title have officially been confirmed.
This is not a drill!
The BBC has confirmed that the Doctor will return just in time for Halloween, on October 31.
A new image has also been revealed and, crucially, the series title – Doctor Who: Flux.
As for what that means, only time will tell…
Things are set to be a bit different this time around, as showrunner Chris Chibnall changes the game for his final series.
Departing from the episodic stories for the first time since the 1980s, series 13 will be all one story, with Jodie Whittaker returning as the Doctor alongside Mandip Gill (Yaz) and newcomers John Bishop (Dan) and Jacob Anderson (Vinder).
We also have it pretty much confirmed that the sontarans are returning, as a sontaran ship was projected into the sky in Liverpool this week.
Series 13 will run for six episodes before three specials next year, which will run into the 60th anniversary of the show and end with Chris’ departure as showrunner and Jodie’s exit as the Doctor.
We’ll also be introduced to the 14th Doctor, with fans throwing about plenty of names as to who could replace Jodie.
With Russell T Davies set to make an explosive return to helm the show for the 60th anniversary ‘and series beyond’, It’s A Sin’s Olly Alexander is currently the bookies’ favourite.
Doctor Who will return to BBC One on October 31.
