Former Arsenal man, Ray Parlour has named Bukayo Saka as the most important player in Mikel Arteta’s squad this season.
He believes that the 21-year-old England international is the only one in the current Arsenal set up who is good enough to get into the legendary Invincibles team.
Arsenal drew 0-0 with Newcastle United on Tuesday, dropping two vital points in the chase of the Premier League title this season.
They are now eight points ahead of Manchester City, ahead of Pep Guardiola’s side game against Chelsea on Wednesday.
The Invincibles were made up of the likes of Parlour, Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Vieira, Ashley Cole and Sol Campbell.
Parlour thinks that only one player in the current squad would push for a place in the Invincibles.’
“In terms of players who could get in the Invincibles’ team, you have to look at Bukayo Saka, surely,” the former midfielder told Lord Ping.
“There won’t be many players getting in our team but I think Saka would be the one to do that,” he added.
