Manchester City playmaker, Bernardo Silva, has admitted the team cannot continue dropping more points this season.
The Premier League champions are currently seven point behind leaders Arsenal.
City will travel to play Chelsea next, while the Gunners welcome Newcastle United on Tuesday night.
This means Silva and co could find themselves 10 points off the top by the time they travel to Stamford Bridge.
“We haven’t reached the halfway mark of the Premier League, it’s getting difficult because if you keep slipping the gap can get bigger.
“You see the way Arsenal are, their energy and hunger, it is a very dangerous team because you feel these things,” Silva said.
