Former Arsenal and England star Lee Dixon has slammed Manchester United’s goalkeeper, David De Gea for his blunder in the FA Cup against Everton on Friday night.
De Gea made an error in the first half of their FA Cup 3-1 victory against struggling the Toffees which led to a goal.
The Spain goalkeeper shockingly allowed a cross from Everton’s Neal Maupay through his legs, with Conor Coady tapping in.
It is the first time Manchester United have conceded a goal since November 2022.
“I can’t believe what I’ve seen,” Dixon said on ITV.
“David de Gea has had an absolute nightmare there.
“What is he doing there? I cannot believe what I’ve just seen.”
