Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has said that he ‘understands’ Wolves’ anger after their winning goal was disallowed during their FA Cup clash on Saturday.
The FA third-round clash between the two Premier League sides ended 2-2 at Anfield, with VAR controversially denying Wolves’ Toti an 82nd-minute winner.
The goal was ruled out after a lengthy check, which caused mass confusion at Anfield and it was confirmed after the game that the goal was disallowed due to an offside call in the build-up.
ITV later reported that the VAR official for the night, Mike Dean did not have a camera angle of the alleged offence, with viewers at home also left in the dark.
“I’m not sure about their third goal,” Klopp said.
“We have one picture where it may look offside.
“But I can understand why they are angry about it. We don’t want the VAR to just have one angle.”
