The Federal Government has announced plans to create mass vaccination sites in Nigerian Universities, other higher institutions of learning and religious centres.
The development was disclosed by the Executive Director of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Faisal Shuai during a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday.
Shuaib explained that the latest decision of the Federal Government was aimed at tracking COVID-19 vaccination across the country.
He said, “We have made plans to create mass vaccination sites and such sites include higher institutions like Universities, Polytechnics and also religious centres like churches. We will be putting structures in place to achieve this.”
VELOXNEWS recalls that the FG had on Wednesday, said it would ban workers who fail to show proof of their COVID-19 vaccination from accessing their offices beginning from December 1.
