The new Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickson Mitchell has appointed Mr Tochil Nwaneri his country’s Ambassador at Large for Nigeria.
This is just as the country will be holding her first Nigeria – Grenada summit in October to strengthen her bilateral relationship with Nigeria.
In a statement made available to Daily Sun, disclosed that the Prime Minister had on July 11th, 2022, officially appointed the Imo State born Tochil Nwaneri, as Ambassador.
Nwaneri it is disclosed will be at the helm of affairs as Chairman of the official Diplomatic headquarters which will be situated in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Amb Nwaneri who is a Financial Investment expert has therefore promised to use his new office to further strengthen and create investment opportunities between the two countries.
He said that move became necessary to bolster economic and bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Grenada.
On this note, he has revealed of the upcoming Nigeria-Grenada investment Summit that would take place in October, 2022.
He sited other major attractions such as Tourism and Agriculture, and expressed optimism that the two countries would benefit immensely from his new appointment.
It could be recalled that currently, Amb Tochil Nwaneri is also the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of São Tomé and Principe on Direct Investment.
