Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has honoured Chronicles Software with the Platinum Award of Excellence in recognition of the company’s education technology impact on the state’s educational system.
The deputy governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, presented the award on behalf of the governor at the 2022 Equal Summit held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, recently.
He stated that the past three years have witnessed tremendous improvement in the overall value chain of the education ecosystem in the state.
“Our model of investment is informed by the desire to entrench 21st century technology into the sector. This huge investment will ultimately result in significant improvement in learning outcomes,” he said.
The Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo, commended Chronicles Software and its leadership for a job done, for its numerous educational technology deployment across the State.
Receiving the award, the CEO of Chronicles Software, Mr. Oluwakoyejo Oluwatosin expressed gratitude to God for His divine inspirations, favours and lifting. He also thanked Governor Sanwo-Olu for nomination and the award.
“A very big thank to all our wonderful team who have worked daily to create these solutions that inspires the next generation to excel. We will continue until every students can access quality education,” he concluded.
Chronicles Software was the only Edtech Company in the Platinum Award category at the ceremony.
Over the years, Chronicles Software has designed, developed and deployed innovative educational solutions with excellent service delivery that impacted millions of students across the country. Its collaboration with the Lagos State Government has led to and contributed positively to boosting students’ outcomes.
The innovative edtech solutions have earned the company the Platinum Award by Lagos State. This includes the deployment of SuccessBOX exam preparation software to all SS3 students since 2020 until date, which one of many interventions that help boost WAEC pass rate.
Chroniclesoft is also responsible for the launch of the largest digital classroom in Africa, EkoSuccessCloud.com that has impacted over 450,000 students across 650 schools in the State, as well as the recent adoption of the digital learning device SuccessTAB for Lagos State comprehensive schools.
Recall that in June, 750 pioneer students of the new Comprehensive School model received e-Learning Mobile Tablets SuccessTAB, courtesy of the governor, to enhance the learning of various vocational skills by beneficiaries in the 12 pilot schools.
