A group, Igbo Youths for Positive Change has lauded Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo for working on all sectors of governance in the state since assumption of office on March 17, 2022.
National President of the Youth group, Evang. Chinedu Obigwe who spoke in Awka yesterday said Governor Soludo has been living up to the expectation of the good people of Anambra State that reposed their confidence on him.
Citing the repairing of the failed portions of the Enugu-Onitsha expressway as an example, the group said the repair carried out by the Soludo administration at the Amansea section of the Enugu/Awka Expressway has made motorists plying that road to experience a new lease of life.
Obigwe said that despite inheriting lots of challenges, the Soludo administration is doing his best to tackle them while the governor’s target is to turn Anambra to a liveable and prosperous homeland.
“The Governor has been repairing failed portions of Anambra road. As if that was not enough, he used one of the best construction company that is known in Anambra State with quality projects delivery to repair the Amawbia section of the Enugu/Awka Expressway. IDC Construction Company did not waste time to mobilise their equipments to site for the rehabilitation work at the Amawbia of section of Enugu/Awka Expressway because they want the Governor to succeed and for the people of Anambra state to be happy”.
“The bad portion of the road have been causing serious traffic gridlock for motorists but after the rehabilitation work, the traffic gridlock disappeared from that section of the road and motorists plying that road are now enjoying it. Governor Soludo administration is working on all sectors of governance.As I pen down this piece, demolition of structures built on waterways in Onitsha is ongoing for the safety of lives and properties of ndi Anambra”.
“As for insecurity, the Governor has tackled it to the extent that Anambra is reclaiming its lost glory. Another commendable thing the Governor did is his administration quick response to the outbreak of monkey pox in the State. As if that was not enough, the Governor brought foreign development partners to Anambra State for them to tap on the opportunities in the State and invest in our beloved State. Infact, when you consider the calibre of personalities in the foreign partners delegation, you will agree with me that Governor Soludo brought the World to Anambra State”.
“The truth is that when Governor Soludo is done with what he has in mind for ndi Anambra, our State will be transformed into one of the best State in Nigeria and Africa at large.”
He called on the good people of Anambra State to continue giving the Governor overwhelming support to enable him actualise his mission of turning Anambra to a liveable and prosperous homeland.
