Nadiya Bychkova has been part of the Strictly Come Dancing family for four years.

The 32-year-old dancer, who was also a former Playboy model, was not in last year’s Strictly line-up, but now she’s back with new partner, BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker.

Nadiya joined the Strictly family in 2017 and was partnered with EastEnders star Davood Ghadami.

The ballroom queen and the actor lasted until week 11 when they performed an Argentine Tango to Phantom Of The Opera.

Nadiya is from Ukraine and specialises in Latin and ballroom and with accolades like two-time world champion and European champion in ballroom and Latin ‘10’, it’s safe to say the dancer knows her stuff.

Aside from being an accomplished dancer, the dancer has also done some professional modelling, as she starred on the front cover of Slovenia’s Playboy magazine in April 2015.

In the past Nadiya hasn’t given too much away when it comes to her dating life. However presenter Claudia Winkleman revealed the dancer was engaged during her time on the hit show.

It’s believed that she’s engaged to Slovenian footballer, Matija Skarabot and the couple also have a five-year-old daughter called Mila.

BBC Breakfast presenter Dan, 44, was partnered up with Nadiya, who shared her prediction that Dan will be good at the ballroom dances, thanks to his 6ft 6 frame and long legs.

However things took a scary turn before the series began, as Dan revealed on social media that he suffered a painful head injury after accidentally walking straight into a glass door.

He ended up going to hospital to have his head assessed after feeling ‘wobbly’, where he was scanned for a bleed on the brain. ‘Thankfully… All ok,’ he told his followers.

Nadiya and Dan will be taking to the dancefloor in Saturday’s movie-themed special, where the pair will be dancing the foxtrot to ‘Once Upon A Dream,’ inspired by the disney classic Sleeping Beauty.

Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight at 6.45pm on BBC One.
